ABOUT

What My Life Is

Since February 2017, my interest in voice-acting and puppetry began with binge-watching cartoons, and puppet videos from The Muppets and Sesame Street. The influences that I cited for the two occupations are Steve Blum, Debi Derryberry, Kevin Michael Richardson, Jim Henson, Kevin Clash, and Noel MacNeal. On that same year, the workshops that I went to for that are Ripley-Grier Studios, Edge Studios, and The Puppet Kitchen, which were all located in New York City.

In voice-acting, I’ve been an avid student and creator of character voices for animation. Currently, I’m training with Ripley-Grier Studios, Edge Studios, and Real Voice L.A. I’m committed to this wonderful craft and always in the process of learning, creating new edge unique characters, expanding my abilities, and making professional life–long connections.

For puppetry, my secondary occupation, I started out taking workshops at The Puppet Kitchen in New York, NY where I met Eric Wright, the founder of this organization and with special guest puppeteers; Jennifer Barnhart and Tyler Bunch. I went and purchased my first practice rod puppet from the Brooklyn Puppet Conspiracy; it was a blue puppet on whom I named it Seymour Sapphire.

In March 2019, my voice-over animation debut was on the indie short cartoons from Marcelo R. Bottaro called 'The Pranking Squirrles' and the second one, 'The Gopher Brothers'. Currently, I am practicing my skill and looking for more work as a voice-over artist, as well as side-hustling as a puppeteer.
